Kimberly Quinn entered the military in 2006 as an enlisted Human Resource Specialist for the U.S. Army Reserve, 257th Transportation Battalion in Gainesville, Florida. She transitioned into the Florida Army National Guard in 2008, serving as a Cadet for Company G (FSC) 53D Brigade Support Battalion in Dade City. She received her commission in 2009 after graduating from the Reserve Officer Training Program at the University of Florida. Upon completion of her bachelor’s degree, she was assigned to the 53D Brigade Support Battalion, Florida Army National Guard, serving as the senior officer for Bravo MAINT Company 53D BSB’s rear detachment while the 53D Infantry Brigade Combat Team was deployed to Kuwait in 2010. She commanded Bravo MAINT Company 53D BSB from December 2012 through June 2015. In 2013, Major Quinn joined the Florida National Guard full-time staff Joint Force Headquarters as the Victim Advocate Coordinator and later served as Human Resource Specialist, Office of the State Surgeon. She deployed with the 927th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion in 2019, serving as the S4 in Afghanistan for Operation Spartan Shield. She served as the International Partnership Specialist for the State Partnership Program from 2018 through September 2022, strategic planning and coordinating security cooperation engagements with Guyana and the Eastern Caribbean’s Regional Security System. In 2022, she transitioned to civilian work full-time as a licensed mental health counselor and leadership coach. She currently serves part-time for the Florida Army National Guard as the Support Operations Officer for 927th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, coordinating external logistics support missions for the multifunctional logistics battalion.

 

Kimberly Quinn earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida in 2009. She earned both Master of Education and Education Specialist degrees in Mental Health Counseling from University of Florida in 2013. Kimberly is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Liberty University for Community Counseling with a specialization in Traumatology. Her military education includes Ordnance Basic Officer Leader Course, Logistics Captain Career Course, HR Management Qualification (42H) Course, Support Operations (SPO) Phase 2, Intermediate Leader Education, and Advanced Operations Course.

 

Major Quinn’s military awards and decoration include the Bronze Star Medal, Joint Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal with bronze oak leaf cluster, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal with two bronze oak leaf clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Parachute Badge, Pathfinder Badge, Air Assault Badge, and German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge. Her state awards include Florida Distinguished Service Medal, Florida Commendation Medal, Florida Service Ribbon, and State Active Duty Ribbon.

Air Force combat Veteran: 13 years 4 deployments. Ph.D. in Public Policy & Admin in Emergency Management. MA in Youth Ministry. BS in Criminal Justice. Background in HR, PA, Marketing, Survival, Self-Defense, R&D, Safety & Risk Mgmt., Aircraft Mx, Leadership, and Public Speaking. Author of Saving Heroes and Raising Outdoorsmen.

Retired Colonel Tommy Duncan served as a commander in the Army Green Berets. He is responsible for advising the Board of Directors on impact, diversity & inclusion, public relations, and legal.

Dr. Kumar is a medical rehabilitation specialist responsible for ensuring mission effectiveness in mental, physical, and spiritual health.

Jasmine Burke

Co-Founder 

Jasmine assisted the development of 10 CAN, Inc. by providing the perspective of what it's like to be a child of a wounded warrior. She is a Paramedic, Certified Nursing Assistant, and student of psychology.  She's an avid outdoorsman, instructor, and mentor for military children. Jasmine aspires to join the FBI, obtain her Ph.D. in Emergency Management and become a strategic leader for Homeland Security.

Freddie C. Batista

Freddie "Chino" Batista is a dedicated father and loving husband, an Army combat Veteran, a SME in video production and web development, an avid outdoorsman, patriot, and believer in Christ Jesus. Chino has worked his way up to the top leadership position. He oversees the Board of Directors, leads and manages day-to-day administration, aides in financial management, and represents as a Pro-Staff member at expos, speaking engagements, and adventures.

Chef Amadeus, is a culinary instructor with University of Florida Professional and workforce Development, Partner with Mirror Image Leadership, Board Member Advisory Council Ronald McDonald House Gainesville, FL. Winner of the Food Networks Extreme Chef “Mexican Showdown, Founding Member of American Culinary Federation Mid Florida East Coast Chapter, Past President of American Culinary Federation First Coast Chapter, recurring Guest Chef on The Low Down with James Yon,  creator of Southern Passion Spices, a salt-free line of spices. His duties will include training and leading a team of volunteers who will provide high quality food at each camp, hosting cooking clinics, and ensuring food quality and consistency.
