About The Event
***Campers must have completed the 6th grade to register for this camp.***
Campers will receive as rod/reel and tackle box full of freshwater tackle to take home at the end of camp.
Campers will learn:
- Safe boat handling skills and experience on the water
- Freshwater fish ID, habitat knowledge and a fish dissection class
- Lessons and experience with proper tackle and live bait for fresh water areas.
- Live fish handling skills
This summer camp is for youth who have a parent serving in (or has served) law enforcement, fire, medical, or the military. Youth will learn the ins and outs of fishing, including how to safely operate a jon boat.
