About The Event
A 10 year old CAN achieve most goals if given the right mentorship, guidance, and tools. Our Rite of Passage program puts a child and their parent in a wilderness survival environment. For the next 72 hour you will be taught foraging skills, hunting skills, rifle marksmanship and proper ways to harvest game.Â
This event is the "line in the sand" that youth need to begin their ascent into emerging adulthood. Â Â Â Â Â
In a Tribe, everyone works together for a single purpose. Likewise we work together as a team to give you and your teen something to remember for years to come.Â
This youth hunt is in partnership with Florida Wildlife Commission, Southwest Florida Water Management District, and sponsored by the Youth Hunt Program of Florida.Â
This is an archery/muzzleloader hunt. You should have your own weapon and countless hours of range time. Archers will be tested on a 3D range from 10-50 yards. Crossbows are permitted. Muzzleloader hunters will shoot up to 100 yards on the range. You must be safe, accurate, and familiar with your weapons.Â
