About The Event
ROPES Course
This Rite of Passage Experience Survival (ROPES) Course is the real deal. Children and youth between 10-18 years old and one parent will team up to survive a week on the Suwannee River with minimal supplies (no more than 10lbs of gear). Survival Expert Steve Claytor, from North Florida Survival, will lead this adventure. He will provide instruction on day one at the GA/FL line, then the youth will survive the remainder of the week while parents supervise without helping them. The beginning of the ROPES course will be Big Shoals. We finish at White Springs, FL.
$1,000 per team. Full and partial scholarships available for military and first responder families.
