About The Event
A 12 year old CAN achieve most goals if given the right mentorship, guidance, and tools. Our Rite of Passage program puts a child and their parent into a wilderness survival challenge. These 72 hour challenges typically entail wilderness survival skills, navigation, and obstacles. This is the "line in the sand" that youth need to begin their ascent into emerging adulthood.
Youth 12 to 15 years old will be able to have a safe, educational, mentored hunt. Youth will have to show proof of completing their Hunter Safety Course. Each youth will need to be accompanied by a parent of guardian. The hunt weekend will teach them marksmanship and firearm safety, tracking and processing game, how to hunt safely, legally, and ethically, and the relationship between hunting and conservation.
