The New Evo-X CenterPunch Crossbow Arrows from TenPoint

Tenpoint Crossbow Technologies has launched the EVO-X CenterPunch premium carbon crossbow arrows. Weighing 445 grains and featuring 17 percent Front of Center, the CenterPunch arrow is designed to improve crossbow accuracy by up to 25 percent.

Constructed from modulus carbon fiber at 33 MSI (million-pounds-per-square-inch) wrapped in an exclusive LAZER-TECH carbon weave and fletched with a 3.5-inch Bohning X Vane™, the 445-grain CenterPunch arrow is equipped with an 84-grain lead-free brass insert – giving it a 17 percent F.O.C. for improved flight, stability and accuracy. Independent, third-party testing has shown that the CenterPunch arrow improves a crossbow hunter’s accuracy by as much as 25 percent.

Its exclusive LAZER-TECH carbon wrap reduces spine variation by 80 percent, as the unidirectional fibers underneath are never touched. In addition, this technology also increases hoop strength by 40 percent, which results in less breakage with increased accuracy due to reduced ovalizing at launch.

Each arrow is inspected for straightness to within .001” and each package is weight-grain matched within 1 grain per arrow. The arrow is equipped with the patented Omni-Nock® Universal System for easy nock changing and lighting capability. The arrows are packaged with Omni-Nocks and moon nocks, making it compatible with most crossbows on the market. The Omni-Nock features six micro-grooves that form three bowstring channels, which eliminate the indexing problem associated with moon and capture nocks. Since the channel “holds” the bowstring in place, the Omni-Nock also prevents flat-nock, “shoot-over” or “shoot under”, a growing problem with today’s narrow crossbows that feature acute string angles.

The CenterPunch crossbow arrows are available in packs of six without lighted nocks, or packs of three with lighted nocks.
