Why We Do It.
Designed for Military and First Responder families: our mission is to honor, revive, and grow American Heroes through outdoor recreation, education, and rehabilitation. We exist to find the cure for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), to raise the next generation of warriors, and to incentivize post-traumatic growth. There's life in your roots.
We're a Christian Adventure Network: fostering comraderies between like-minded groups, harnessing the warrior ethos to enhance communities through a purpose-driven lifestyle, and conduct adaptive adventures for warriors with "skin in the game". There's nothing more important than faith and family.
Caretakers are vital members of the team. They have embraced the suck and often suffer from vicarious trauma (secondary traumatic stress disorder). Thousands of Warriors stay alive each day because of them. They are the cornerstone for American Heroes, but also require TLC to stay the course. They are the frontline for the new battlefield, because healing happens at home.
Our children and youth program is designed to create community impact agents. Giving youth a purpose reduces misbehavior and increases quality of life. Establishing a moment in time (Rite of Passage) to begin the transition into emerging adulthood ensures every child is equipped for success. We teach children how to farm, hunt, fish, and survive in any given situation.
As an all-volunteer force, every cent donated goes toward missions. We are a mobile organization headquartered on a farm in Newberry, FL. We have Mission Operators throughout the U.S. ready to answer the call. This Kingdom-driven machine is operational because of amazing volunteers, donors, sponsors, and stakeholders like you.
